A Place To
Learn. Grow.
Belong.
Since 1955, The Club has created a place where young people ages 6–18 can learn, create, stay active, build confidence, connect with caring mentors and discover new opportunities. Together with families and community partners, we help young people grow and thrive.
More Than
A Program.
A Community.
The Club is a year-round youth development organization creating opportunities for young people ages 6–18 to learn, grow, lead and belong.
Through academics, creative and performing arts, athletics, recreation, mentoring, leadership development and community experiences, young people can explore interests, develop skills, build confidence and form meaningful relationships with caring adults and peers.
We bring families, schools, nonprofits, coaches, businesses, foundations and community organizations together to expand what is possible for young people.

Five Ways
Young People
Thrive.
Young people need more than one kind of opportunity. The Club creates experiences across five core areas of youth development so members can discover what interests them, strengthen their skills, build confidence and develop meaningful connections.
Academics
Members have opportunities to complete homework, strengthen academic habits, ask for support and stay on track with school in an encouraging environment built around learning and growth.

Real Stories.
Real Impact.
What happens at The Club reaches far beyond a single program or activity. These stories show opportunity, belonging, partnership and community in action. They are real examples of young people being supported, partners investing in youth and a Clubhouse that continues bringing people together.
A Home To Compete & Dream Bigger.
The Salesian Pumas give girls ages 7–14 opportunities to compete, build friendships, develop leadership skills and see what may be possible for their futures. Chevron Richmond stepped in as a sponsor to help families with some of the costs of getting their children involved in youth sports. That support helps the program provide equipment, uniforms, tournament participation and experiences that extend beyond soccer.
From Club Kid To Club Leader.
David Arriaga first came through The Club's doors as a child. His handprint, made when he was 10 years old, is still part of the Clubhouse wall today. Decades later, he now leads the same organization that gave him and his friends a safe place to spend their afternoons — one example of how the relationships built at The Club can continue across generations.
When Partners Invest In Youth.
The Golden State Warriors, Chase and the Good Tidings Foundation joined forces to renovate more than 7,500 square feet of The Club's gym. The project created an improved multi-sport space for local young people, and hundreds of youth and families celebrated the unveiling with Stephen Curry, who joined Club youth on the new court.
Where Community Comes Together.
More than 200 community members gathered at The Club to honor longtime Richmond leader Nat Bates for 45 years of community service. The event also raised funds for local youth and brought elected officials, community leaders, businesses, supporters and neighbors together inside the Clubhouse.
This Is What Community-Based Youth Development Looks Like
Opportunity for young people. Caring adults. Strong partnerships. A place that brings people together. Different stories, but one shared purpose: creating more opportunities for young people and strengthening the community around them.
Better
Together.
Young people are the reason this work exists. The Club is the connector — bringing families, schools, community organizations, businesses, foundations and supporters together around youth. We provide the place, build the relationships and connect programs and resources so more opportunities become possible for young people.
Trust & Connection
Families bring trust, insight and relationships that help us understand and support the young people and communities we serve.
Learning & Support
Schools connect students, learning needs and academic opportunities with support that continues beyond the classroom.
Programs & Expertise
Nonprofits, mentors, coaches and community organizations bring programs, knowledge and experiences into The Club.
Investment & Resources
Businesses, foundations and donors provide funding, sponsorships and resources that help expand what is possible.
The Club connects the people, programs, resources and space that turn community support into meaningful opportunities for young people.
